Registration Instructions

Module 1: An Integrated Strategy for Maintenance Management will be delivered by the
Continuing Education & Corporate Training department (CECT) at Northern Lakes College.

We do need you to register right away with Northern Lakes College to get your student
account set up.
Please read and follow the instructions outlined below. If, at any point, you are
not clear on how to proceed, please contact our team at cect@northernlakescollege.ca or 780-
849-8623. Our team is more than happy to assist with the registration process.

You must decide if you are a new or returning student. If you have never taken a course with
Northern Lakes College before, you are a new student. If you have taken a course with us
before, you are a returning student. Please proceed according to the instructions below.


NEW STUDENT (Never taken a NLC course before)

  1. Click on CREATE AN ACCOUNT found under NEW STUDENT
  2. Fill out all the details in the mandatory fields, this is important, your NLC student record
    is created from here. Please make sure you enter the email address where you want
    auto emails/instructions/contact sent to. Check your information for spelling – whatever
    you enter here for your name will show up on any certificates you receive. Press Submit
    when you have completed.
  3. Select ADD PRIVATE TRAINING and enter these details for Module 1:
    a. Offering Code: MMP001-25-26EDSEP1
    b. Customer ID: 1859
  4. Once the course is added, Review Cart Details (it should have Module 1: An Integrated
    Strategy for Maintenance Management, Customer Name: First Nations Technical
    Services Advisory Group)
  5. Under Online Registration – check the “I agree to the terms outlined in the Consent and
    Privacy Statement above” (open Consent and Privacy Statement to review)
  6. Select one from the drop-down for “How did you hear about these Northern Lakes
    College Courses?”
  7. Click on the “REGISTER” button

    Note: Please do not share this information with anyone else as only those receiving the invite
    should register.




    RETURNING STUDENT (Taken a NLC course before)

RETURNING STUDENT (Taken a NLC course before)

1. You are a Returning Student, use that registration
2. Enter your Student ID (student number only)
3. Your password is the same as before if you have not changed it.
a. Please review your personal information and Edit if anything has changed –
mailing address, spelling of your name, phone number, email address, etc.

4. Select ADD PRIVATE TRAINING and enter these details for Module 1:
a. Offering Code: MMP001-25-26EDSEP1
b. Customer ID: 1859

5. Once the course is added, Review Cart Details (it should have Module 1: An Integrated
Strategy for Maintenance Management, Customer Name: First Nations Technical
Services Advisory Group)

6. Under Online Registration – check the “I agree to the terms outlined in the Consent and
Privacy Statement above” (open Consent and Privacy Statement to review)

7. Select one from the drop-down for “How did you hear about these Northern Lakes
College Courses?”

8. Click on the “REGISTER” button
