– The function of key infrastructure elements of a transfer station
– Non-compliant waste stream materials

– The importance of data collection

– Fundamentals of an integrated waste management system
– Environmental controls and regulations
– The importance of maintaining a healthy and safe environment
– Issues and challenges associated with planning, designing, and operating a transfer station

Public Works Directors and Managers, Transfer Station Operators and Garbage Truck Drivers

REIMBURSEMENT:
Reimbursement for travel and accommodation will be made directly to the First Nation and for two participants from each Alberta First Nation. Please allow 4-6 weeks for reimbursement payment.
