TSAG’s Circuit Rider Training Program (CRTP) recently hosted and co-instructed the “AWWOA Level II Water Treatment Certification Preparation” and “Level II Water Distribution Certification Preparation” courses in Edmonton, Alberta on March 22-23 and April 19-20. These courses are offered every couple years to help operators prepare for the Alberta Environment and Protected Areas (AEPA) Level II water treatment and distribution certification exams. Operators from Beaver First Nation, Dene Tha’ First Nation, Kehewin Cree Nation, Little Red River Cree Nation, Loon River First Nation, Paul First Nation and Samson Cree Nation attended and all operators successfully passed the course final exams!
TSAG would like to thank the Alberta Water and Wastewater Operators Association (AWWOA) for the course material and also lead instructor Kurt Stogrin for his course instruction expertise. We are also immensely thankful to our co-instructors CRT Lawrence Michetti and CRTP Manager/Training Coordinator Devin Meneen for their invaluable contributions. TSAG is dedicated to delivering exceptional training to Water and Wastewater Operators in Treaty 6-8 territory and fostering meaningful connections between operators in these communities. We are excited to be offering more courses in the near future and to further strengthen our relationships with the communities!
