Intermediate First Aid (formerly Standard First Aid) is the most commonly required training course in the workplace. In addition to CPR, this course offers valuable information and skills to a first aider so that you will be effective until EMS arrives.
WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) is a simple and informative course that can be completed in a classroom setting or by self-study. Health and safety training experts recommend on-site training courses specific to the types of chemicals at your work place. WHMIS training takes a common sense approach to workplace health and safety.
Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) affects anyone who handles, ships, receives, transports or offers a consignment for transport requires dangerous goods training under federal law. On Canada ‘s highways, nearly 1 out of every 7 trucks is carrying dangerous goods. Gasoline, diesel, antifreeze and acids are just a few of the 3000 dangerous goods transported on our roads everyday.
