This component will be 35 hours (5 days) long. 

The maximum class size for WWWT203 is 15 students.

Support Systems for Water Wastewater has been designed to provide operators with the knowledge necessary to ensure safe and efficient water distribution and treatment. This is accomplished by providing learners with skills in describing pump piping systems, pump hydraulics, pump theory, and pump and valve maintenance. 

Learners will gain the above skills through achieving the following learning outcomes and abilities to:

• Explain centrifugal water and wastewater pump operation.
• Describe methods of water and wastewater pump maintenance.
• Describe water and wastewater pump piping, priming, hydraulics, and cavitation.
• Identify supporting water and wastewater pump types and systems.
