facilities.<\/p>\n<p>The primary learning outcomes and skills that the successful learners Science and Math for Wastewater Technicians will develop are the abilities to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Calculate mathematical concepts and measurements as applied to the water and wastewater industry.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate measurements of geometric figures used in water and wastewater facilities.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate flow in a water system.<\/li>\n<li>Define and interpret the structure and classification of matter using chemical formulae and equations.<\/li>\n<li>Calculate and describe the concentration of acids, bases, and salts in a solution.<\/li>\n<li>Describe the relationship of chemistry to water and wastewater treatment processes.<\/li>\n<li>Define electrical quantities and equipment terms in water and wastewater treatment.<\/li>\n<li>Identify functions of electrical equipment in water and wastewater
